These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Project Pyrite website and your purchase of products from us. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Use of this website

  • You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of this site by, any third party.

  • We may update, change, or remove any part of the site (including products and prices) at any time without notice.

3. Pricing & payment

  • All prices are shown in AUD (unless otherwise stated) and include GST where applicable.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Changes will not affect orders already placed and paid.

  • Payment must be made at checkout using the methods offered (e.g. card, PayPal, etc). Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

4. Shipping

  • Shipping terms, timeframes, and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

  • By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the shipping information and estimates described there.

5. Returns & refunds

  • Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions and explains when you can request a return, store credit, replacement, or refund.

  • Nothing in our policies limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the ACL.

6. Australian Consumer Law

  • Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

  • You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We do not seek to exclude or limit these mandatory consumer guarantees in any way.

7. Store credit, discounts & promotions

  • Store credits issued by Project Pyrite may be subject to expiry dates or conditions, which will be stated at the time of issue.

  • Discount codes or promotions cannot be used in conjunction with each other unless explicitly stated and may be subject to minimum spend or other conditions.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order where a discount has been applied incorrectly (for example due to a technical glitch), after contacting you to discuss options.

8. Intellectual property

  • All content on this website, including logos, product names, images, text, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Project Pyrite and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without our prior written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use of this website or purchase of products, except where required by the ACL.

  • Where liability cannot be excluded under the ACL, our liability is limited, at our option, to the replacement of the goods, repair of the goods, or refund of the purchase price, as permitted by law.

10. Privacy

Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. (You can use Shopify’s privacy template and brand it for Project Pyrite.)

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
